The 2024 Symposium on Nano-Optoelectronics Marks a Resounding Success
The 2024 Symposium on Nano-Optoelectronics was successfully held at the Science and Technology Exhibition Center of China Optics Valley on the afternoon of May 16th. As one of the concurrent events of the International Optoelectronic Exposition and Forum, this symposium was initiated and chaired by Prof. Yidong Huang from Tsinghua University, and jointly organized by the International Research Center for Nano-optoelectronics of Tsinghua University, Chinese Laser Press, and OESHOW. The symposium provided an excellent platform for experts and scholars in the field of optoelectronics to exchange ideas, share research results, and explore future trends. This symposium attracted more than 100 researchers, industry representatives, and students in the field of optoelectronics for on-site participation, and over 1000 people watched this event through the online streaming platform.
Prof. Yidong Huang from Tsinghua University presided over the symposium and delivered the opening speech. This symposium invited Prof. Min Qiu from Westlake University, Prof. Yongzhe Zhang from Beijing University of Technology, Prof. Jiang Tang from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Prof. Lingling Huang from Beijing Institute of Technology, and Associate Researcher Hao Sun from Tsinghua University to give presentations on topics of "Nanoimprinting Technology Prospects for Optoelectronic Devices", "Two-Dimensional Material based Photodetectors", "Quantum Dot Infrared Detectors", "Dynamic Holography and Light Field Control on Metasurfaces", and "Nano-materials Boost Silicon Photonic Integration". In addition, previous invited speakers Prof. Xuewen Chen from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Prof. Wei Jiang from Nanjing University, and Prof. Xinlun Cai from Sun Yat-sen University attended the event in person to support the discussion on promoting the long-term development of nano-optoelectronics.
