From June 18 to 22, 2023, Optica Quantum 2.0 Conference and Exhibition 2023 (Quantum 2.0 2023) was held in Denver, USA. Ph.D candidate Dongning Liu gave a poster presentation with the title of “Chip Based Controllable Entanglement Distribution Network”, introducing our recent research about multi-user controllable quantum entanglement distribution network based on the silicon photonics. Ph.D candidate Jingyuan Liu gave an oral presentation with the title of “Long-Distance High-Dimensional Quantum Key Distribution Field Test Using Energy-Time Entanglement”, introducing our recent research about the entanglement-based quantum key distribution field test. These works attracted wide attention and sparked heated discussions.

The Quantum 2.0 Conference is held by Optica. The chairs of this conference include Prof. Eden Figueroa from Stony Brook University and Dr. Ronald Holzwarth from Menlo Systems GmbH, etc. This conference brings together academics, engineers, national laboratory and industry scientists and others working to advance quantum science and technology. The goal is to promote the development of mature quantum technologies that will allow us to build quantum 2.0 systems capable of quantum advantage.
