Professional Experience:

Dr. Zhu has been focusing on the field of Near-infrared spectral imaging chip. He proposed a vertical structure with small refractive index difference by directly integrating silicon metasurface with InGaAs image sensor to reduce the influence of the reflection and interference of the interfaces, as well as the crosstalk between pixels. By developing CMOS-compatible fabrication process for hybrid integration of metasurface units and image sensor, the snapshot NIR hyperspectral imaging chip is achieved.
