Prof. Wei Zhang delivered an invited talk on “the Fifth Forum on the Second Revolution of Quantum Mechanics”
Prof. Wei Zhang attended “the Fifth Forum on the Second Revolution of Quantum Mechanics” and delivered an invited talk at May 29th, 2021. The topic of his talk is “Fully connected quantum networks based on spontaneous four wave mixing quantum light sources”. In the talk, Prof. Zhang introduced principles and experimental techniques of spontaneous four wave mixing (SFWM) quantum light sources, then he reported our recent progress on large scale quantum networks based on high performance SFWM quantum light sources realized by integrated silicon waveguides.
The Fifth Forum on the Second Revolution of Quantum Mechanics was held at Chengdu, Sichuan province, China at May 28th-30th, 2021. Its topics focused on quantum internet and fundamental issues of quantum mechanics. The forum was hosted by Information and Quantum lab., University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC), sponsored by University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) and CAS Key Laboratory of Quantum Information. Over 100 attendees came from USTC, Institute of Physics, CAS, Tsinghua University, Fudan University, Zhejiang University, Xi’an Jiaotong University, Nanjing University, South University of Science and Technology, South China University of Technology, UESTC,East China Normal University, etc..
