Prof. Yidong Huang and Prof. Fang Liu visited Taiyuan Iron and Steel Group and Shanxi Comprehensive Reform Zone
From December 29 to 30, 2021, Prof. Yidong Huang and Prof. Fang Liu visited Taiyuan Iron & Steel（Group）Co., LTD and Shanxi Transformation and Comprehensive Reform Demonstration Zone together with more than ten related staff from Institute for Electronics and Information Technology in Tianjin, Tsinghua University, Beijing-Jin Electronic Information Industry Collaborative Innovation Center and SEE Fund.
Taiyuan Iron & Steel（Group）Co., LTD. (TISCO) is a leading enterprise in domestic stainless steel industry. Prof. Huang and Prof. Liu had an in-depth discussion on the application of modern steel intelligent sensing technology in stainless steel production and manufacturing with the chief engineer of TiSCO and the relevant technical personnel of steelmaking and manufacturing department. The two sides have identified a series of entry points for cooperation, which will promote the further implementation of relevant technologies of our laboratory in the iron and steel metallurgy industry.
Shanxi Transformation and Comprehensive Reform Demonstration Zone (hereinafter referred to as "comprehensive Reform Zone") is a national resource-based economic transformation comprehensive supporting reform pilot zone approved by The State Council on November 25, 2010. Prof. Huang and his delegation visited the exhibition hall of the comprehensive reform Zone, and had discussions and exchanges with the director, deputy director and leaders of the comprehensive reform Zone, and summarized the achievements of the current cooperation between the two sides.
