Prof. Yidong Huang was invited to attend the 13th PECS and give a presentation
On March 29-31, 2023, Prof. Yidong Huang was invited to attend the 13th Symposium on Photonic and Electromagnetic Crystal Structures (PECS) in Tokyo, Japan and give a presentation.
PECS was founded in 1999. It focuses on the physical mechanism, fabrication process, and device applications of photonic/electromagnetic crystal. It is a high-end summit of leading experts in the field. This year's PECS brings together one of the inventors of photonic crystals, Prof. Eli Yablonovitch from Berkeley, Prof. Susumu Noda from Kyoto University, Prof. Marin Soljacic from MIT, Prof. Shanhui Fan from Stanford, and Prof. Marko Loncar from Harvard University, and other world famous experts. Prof. Yidong Huang delivered an invitation report entitled "Nano-structure Brings New Ideas to Optoelectronic Devices" at the meeting, introducing the research achievements of new functional devices based on Nano-structures in my laboratory, which attracted the attention of experts. During the Symposium, Prof. Huang had a friendly and pleasant exchange with the participating experts.
