From July 24 to 26, 2022, the “Forum on Photonic Integrated Circuits 2022” was held in Qingdao. Prof. Wei Zhang and Associate Prof. Xue Feng were invited to give presentations on this forum. In the session of Optical Quantum Device and System, Prof. Zhang gave a talk with the title of “Photonic Chips for Quantum Entanglement Distribution Networks”. In this presentation, our work about the quantum optical network for entangled states distribution as well as some specifically designed photonic devices and chip have been reviewed. In the session of Intelligent Optical Computing, Associate Prof. Feng gave a talk with the title of “On-demand Photonic Ising Machine”. In this presentation, our work about the photonic Ising machine with the architecture of phase encoding and intensity detection Ising annealer (PEIDIA) has been reviewed.

This forum was organized by the Chinese Society for Optical Engineering（CSOE）joint with pioneering universities，institutes and companies in China. There are 15 special sessions and more than 200 leading experts from academia and industry were invited to attend. Extensive exchanges and discussions covered a broad spectrum within materials, devices, and chips for optoelectronic integration, process platforms, simulation and design, packaging and testing technology and their applications in many fields.
