返回Prof. Wei Zhang delivered two invited talks on the Photonics and Electromagnetics Research Symposium (PIERS2023)
Prof. Wei Zhang attended the Photonics and Electromagnetics Research Symposium (PIERS2023) and delivered two invited talks. The title of the first talk was “Photon-counting Reconstructive Spectrometers Utilizing Superconducting Nanowire Single-photon Detectors and On-chip Photonic Structures”. In this talk, he introduced our recent progresses on hybrid integration of superconducting nano-wire single photon detectors and on-chip photonic structures, to realize photon counting reconstructive spectrometers for single-photon level ultra-faint light. The title of the second talk was “Silicon Photonic Chips for Quantum Entanglement Distribution Networks”, in which he introduced our recent works on large scale QKD networks based on silicon photonic circuits. These talks attracted wide attention among the attendees.
The Photonics and Electromagnetics Research Symposium in this year (PIERS2023) was held in Prague, Czech Republic at July 3-6, 2023. Photonics and Electromagnetics Research Symposium (also known as Progress In Electromagnetics Research Symposium), provides an international forum for reporting progress and recent advances in the scientific theories and experiments and the technologies of electromagnetics and photonics.
