From August 10 to 14, 2025, Professors Yi-Dong Huang and Wei Zhang were invited to attend the 16th International Conference on Information Optics and Photonics (CIOP 2025) in Xi'an. The CIOP is a prestigious international academic conference in the fields of information optics and photonics. Professor Yi-Dong Huang delivered a plenary talk titled "Manipulation of Optical Field Based on Metasurface," introducing the research approach and achievements of our lab in optical field control using metasurfaces. Professor Wei Zhang gave an invited talk titled "Quantum Entanglement Distribution Networks Based on Silicon Photonic Chips" in the " Silicon Photonics for Large-Scale Integration" session, introducing latest research progressof our lab in silicon photonic quantum chips and quantum networks. The research achievements of our lab attracted widespread attention among the attending scholars.

CIOP 2025 was co-organized by Chinese Laser Press, Northwestern Polytechnical University, and Xidian University. It has 19 topics, including Light-Matter Interactions, Light Field Manipulation and Applications, Ultrafast and Nonlinear Phenomena, Advanced Lasers and Systems, Thin-film Lithium Niobate Photonics, Silicon Photonics for Large-scale Integration, Micro and Nanophotonics, Microwave Photonics, Plasmonics and Metamaterials, Optical Materials, Optical Imaging, Display and Storage, Optical Measurement and Metrology, Optical Sensors and Systems, Optical Communications and Networks, Optical Fiber and Waveguide Technologies, Biophotonics and Optofluidics, Infrared and Terahertz Technologies, Quantum Optics and Information, AI and Photonics. The conference featured 8 plenary talks, 40 keynote talks and over 400 invited talks, showcasing the latest research advancements from nearly 200 institutions. CIOP 2025 attracted over 1,200 participants from 27 countries.
