返回Our laboratory successfully hosted the 2026 International Symposium on Nano-Optoelectronics
The International Nano-optoelectronic Workshop (iNOW) is a globally influential academic conference in the field of optoelectronics. Hosted by our Lab,, the 2026 International Nano-optoelectronic Workshop (iNOW 2026) was held in Beijing and Tianjin from August 6 to 15, 2026. Featuring academic presentations from over 50 renowned experts in nano-optoelectronics, the conference fostered deep discussions on cutting-edge ideas and advances in nanoscale optoelectronic research, physical laws governing the optoelectronic properties of materials, state-of-the-art characterization techniques, and novel functional devices. Taking into account the knowledge base of young students, the speakers intentionally adopted an accessible, step-by-step presentation style. This approach enabled the student audience to gain a clearer understanding of frontier topics and absorb key insights, leaving attendees feeling exceptionally enriched. Furthermore, the experts shared reflections and insights from their own scientific journeys, offering profound inspiration and valuable experience for all participants to ponder.
The organizing committee created a special registration channel for undergraduate students in the Tailored Program (Optoelectronic) of the Department of Electronic Engineering. Registered undergraduates were granted full access to all academic sessions at iNOW 2026. To help these students better grasp the specialized technical content, the committee organized five post-session academic events, which reviewed the day's presentations and introduced relevant foundational theories and background knowledge. Ultimately, iNOW 2026 provided invaluable guidance and inspiration for the undergraduate students as they explore future research directions and initiate their projects.
