On December 20, 2023, the Advanced Light Computing Display Research and Development Center of Research Institute of Tsinghua University in Shenzhen held a founding ceremony at the new building of the Shenzhen Research Institute. Mr. Shishan Ji, Dean of the Research Institute of Tsinghua University in Shenzhen, and Professor Connie Chang-Hasnain, X.Q. Deng Presidential Chair Professor of the Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen)/Foreign Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, delivered speeches to congratulate the establishment of the center. Prof. Xue Feng, the director of this center, introduced the development plan and goal of the center. Prof. Yidong Huang summarized and presided over the unveiling process.
