On the afternoon of March 1st, the fifth session of the "New Engineering Lecture Hall" of Peking University was held in the sixth Conference room of the Academic Exchange Center of Peking University Xinyanyuan Campus. Prof. Yidong Huang was invited to give a presentation on the topic of "Nano-structure: Unlocking new functions of optoelectronic chips". The lecture was hosted by Prof. Yunfeng Xiao, School of Physics of Peking University. Nearly 100 faculty members and students from the School of Physics, the School of Electronics, the School of Intelligence, the School of Computer, the School of Integrated Circuits, and other departments and related functional departments of Peking University listened to the lecture. In the interactive communication session, the audiences had in-depth discussions on the spectrum chip band selection and resolution limits, the development trend of micro and nano fabrication technology, and the potential application of free electron radiation light source system. While patiently answering questions in detail, Prof. Huang encouraged young researchers to actively participate in the field of optoelectronic chip research, devote themselves to grinding and tackling key problems, and drive the development of related industries with original innovation.
