Professor Zhang Wei attended the 20th National Academic Conference on Laser Technology and Optoelectronics (LTO), received the Editor-in-Chief's Recommendation Award of Acta Optica Sinica (Network Edition), and gave an invited report
The paper "Hybrid Integration of Single-Photon Avalanche Diode Arrays with Silicon Photonic Chips," with Ph.D. candidate Xiaosong Ren as the first author and Prof. Wei Zhang as the corresponding author, has been awarded the Editor's Choice Award of the current year by Acta Optica Sinica (Online). The award ceremony was held during the 20th National Conference on Laser Technology and Optoelectronics (LTO 2025) in Shanghai from June 20 to 23, 2025. Professor Zhang Wei was invited to attend the conference to receive the award. He also delivered an invited talk titled "Integration Technology of Single-Photon Detection on Quantum Photonic Chips," introducing our research progress in hybrid integration of SNSPDs and near-infrared SPADs with photonic chips. His presentation attracted significant attention from the attendees.
Acta Optica Sinica (Online) is an academic online journal sponsored by the Shanghai Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics (Chinese Academy of Sciences) and the Chinese Optical Society, and published by Chinese Laser Press. As China's first online optical journal, Acta Optica Sinica (Online) is committed to fully leveraging the extensibility of online publishing to report academic developments and the latest research achievements across all fields of optics with faster dissemination and more accessible reading formats.
The National Conference on Laser Technology and Optoelectronics (LTO) is a high-level Chinese-language academic conference in the laser and related fields, initiated and organized by Chinese Laser Press. The conference aims to advance academic progress and development in laser-related fields in China, promote laser technology exchange, and provide a professional platform for domestic academic communication in laser science. Since its inception in 2006, LTO has developed over more than a decade into the largest Chinese-language academic conference in the laser and related fields within China. This conference invited renowned experts and academic leaders in China's laser and optoelectronics fields to deliver keynote presentations. It also established high-level parallel sessions for participants to jointly explore the latest developments in laser and optoelectronics technologies, fostering close integration of industry, academia, and research in these fields.
