Prof. Wei Chen took an invited talk in the on-line seminar of Nano-OptoEletcronics Lab. He is a professor of University of Science and Technology of China (USTC) and his research focuses on quantum cryptography communications. In this talk, he provided a comprehensive introduction on quantum key distribution (QKD), including its principle and developing process, issues of security, experimental and practical systems, development of QKD networks, and recent hot topics in this area.
