The 4th Young Scientists Forum on Integrated Quantum Photonics was held successfully in Liaoning Hall, Beijing, at December 18-20, 2020. This forum was jointly proposed by Prof. Guangcan Guo of University of Science and Technology of China and Prof. Shining Zhu of Nanjing University. It aims to build an academic platform for young researchers engaged in the field of integrated quantum photonics, promote related research and the implementation of quantum information technology in China.

This forum was sponsored by the Department of Electronic Engineering of Tsinghua University and co-sponsored by the Institute for Electronics and Information Technologies in Tianjin, Tsinghua University. Prof. Wei Zhang was the convenor of the forum. The two-day forum included 7 sessions of oral invited talks and 1 session of poster presentation, in which 19 invited talks and 28 posters were presented. The numbers of registered attendees and companies were 162 and 18, respectively. In the opening ceremony, Prof. Yidong Huang, the vice chair of academic committee of Tsinghua University, took the welcome speech. In the forum, the attendees took widely communications and discussions on novel principles, methods and applications of integrated quantum photonics, new technologies for generation, manipulation and detection of photonic quantum state on chip, new materials and principles for integrated optics, etc.
