On October 26, 2021, Professor Yidong Huang was invited to attend Westlake International Symposium in Engineering and deliver a report entitled “Next-generation optoelectronic chips with nanostructure”as a Keynote Speaker, introducing the latest research of our Lab.. A series of new functional optoelectronic devices have been realized, such as the first on-chip integrated free electron light source and broadband Smith-Purcell radiation source, real-time spectral imaging with both high spectral and spatial resolution, integrated orbital angular momentum emitter with a wide mode switching range, and integrated quantum light sources for various quantum entangled state generation at telecom band. Received the attention and praise of the participants. 

Westlake International Symposium in Engineering (WISE) is a biennial international conference held by the School of Engineering of Westlake University with the aim to provide an international collaboration and exchange platform for engineering scientists to share knowledge and research findings, discuss existing challenges, and explore exciting new ideas and cutting-edge technologies. WISE 2021 was chaired by Professor Jianjun Cheng of Westlake University, focusing on five major fields: Artificial Intelligence, Electric Engineering, Environment and Resources, Materials Science and Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, with more than 500 participants.
