Professor Yidong Huang was reappointed Deputy President of China Education Society of Electronics (CESE)

On November 11, 2021, the third member representative meeting of the sixth Council of China Education Society of Electronics (CESE) was held online. Chaired by Professor Baolong Guo, Vice President and Deputy secretary-general, the meeting listened to the work report and financial report of the sixth council delivered by Qiang Ma, President of the council, and voted to elect the seventh president, deputy president, secretary-general, deputy secretary-general and executive member of the council. Professor Yidong Huang was reelected deputy president after the sixth term. 

CESE was established on January 19, 1994. It is composed of electronic education institutions and electronic industry enterprises and organizations. The aim of the society is to promote the reform and development of e-education, to serve the revitalization of the e-information industry, and to contribute to the implementation of the strategy of "rejuvenating the country through science and education". CESE has more than 300 group members and seven branches, including graduate education branch, higher education branch, vocational and technical education branch, continuing education branch, graduate employment research branch, ideological and political education branch, logistics management research branch. Professor Huang is also the vice president of higher education branch. The society organizes and carries out research on various educational theories and teaching practices of electronic information discipline at all levels, exchanges research results and reform experience. In the education reform of the Department of Electronic Engineering, Tsinghua University, CESE has played an active role in promoting their newly constructed electronic information knowledge system and curriculum system.
