Prof. Yidong Huang was invited to be the keynote speaker at Tsinghua University's 1st Achievement Transformation Experience Sharing Salon

At noon on April 26, the 1st Achievement Transformation Experience Sharing Salon co-organized by the Institute of Technology Transfer and the Faculty Development Center of Tsinghua University was successfully held in the Faculty Development Center. Prof. Yidong Huang was invited to be the keynote speaker and shared the theme of "Exploring the Road to Transform Scientific and Technological Achievements". Nearly 40 Faculty members from all departments of the University participated in the activity.

Prof. Huang shared the transformation experience of technological achievements of nano-structure optoelectronic chips, introduced the whole process from the breakthrough of the fabrication technology of nano-structure to the establishment of the international first-class process platform, the development of the world's leading new optoelectronic chips, and gradually industrialization, to help the participators better understand how to achieve the successful transformation of scientific research results. The three achievement transformation enterprises established by our lab. are currently valued at more than 2.5 billion yuan. The optoelectronic chip fabrication technology platform established by our lab. has provided customized chip fabrication and process development for more than 500 scientific research teams and enterprises' new product research and development. It has effectively promoted the innovative research and industrial development in the field of nano-optoelectronics in China, and cultivated a group of research and industrial talents. After the theme sharing, Prof. Huang and the participators had a heated discussion on how to build a full-time team, the balance between achievement transformation and scientific research, and the university's achievement transformation policy.
