The summary meeting of the 2024 spring semester concluded successfully
On July 12, 2024, faculty members and students from the nano-optoelectronic laboratory gathered at the Institute for Electronics and Information Technology (IEIT) at Tsinghua University in Tianjin for a valuable visit and learning experience. The first stop on their itinerary was a visit to Tianjin Technology Group Corporation, the laboratory's achievement transformation company, and the second-phase microfabrication cleanroom. Dr. Qu Di, the CEO of H-Chip, provided a detailed overview of the enterprise's history, and showcased the state-of-the-art processing equipment and cutting-edge micro/nano optoelectronic process flow. This visit allowed the students to gain a deeper understanding of the intricate preparation process involved in the production of the micro/nano optoelectronic chips.
In the afternoon, the faculty members and students convened in the lecture hall at IEIT for a summary meeting marking the conclusion of the 2024 spring semester. Master's and doctoral students who were in their second year and above took turns presenting their work progress and the results they achieved during this semester. The teachers provided thoughtful feedback and comments on each student's final summary report. The meeting was a productive and enlightening session that allowed both students and teachers to reflect on their achievements throughout the semester. The final summary meeting of the 2024 spring semester concluded successfully.
