Prof. Yidong Huang Leads a Team Attend and Present at International Nano-Optoelectronics Workshop 2024
From July 15th to 24th, 2024, Prof. Yidong Huang led a team of 9 lab members to attend the prestigious International Nano-Optoelectronics Workshop 2024 (iNOW 2024) held in Shenzhen, Guangdong. Co-hosted by Shenzhen Technology University, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen, and Southern University of Science and Technology, the workshop aimed to promote exchanges and collaborations in the field of nano-optoelectronics. The workshop covered a range of hot topics including nano-optoelectronics, semiconductor processing and synthesis, advanced characterization techniques, new physics at the nanoscale, novel devices and applications based on nanomaterials, and was highly regarded within the scientific community.
Prof. Yidong Huang was invited to deliver a presentation titled " Interaction of Photons with Free Electrons based on Nano-structures " at the conference, which attracted great attention from the experts and scholars in attendance. In addition, postdoctoral fellows Han-Qi Feng, Jian Xiong, Ning Wu, along with doctoral candidates De-Yang Kong, Shi-Jie Rao, Jia-Hao Tian, and Zhi-Yao Ma gave 2-minute oral presentations highlighting their latest research findings. Following their presentations, they actively engaged in academic discussions and exchanges ideas with experts through poster exhibitions, showcasing the lab’s recent research progress.
During the conference, the lab members had the opportunity to engage in in-depth exchanges with top international research teams, sharing their research findings and experiences. This valuable experience not only expanded the academic horizons of the students but also strengthened academic exchanges and fostered closer collaborations with international peers, laying a solid foundation for future research endeavors.
