PhD student Mingzhong Hu participated in the 14th Conference of Quantum Imaging and received the Excellent Poster Award
From August 13 to 16, 2024, the 14th Conference on Quantum Imaging was held at Yanqi Lake in Beijing. In this conference, PhD student Mingzhong Hu presented a poster titled "Four-Dimensional Imaging Based on A Photon Counting Spectrometer," sharing recent research progress of our lab with colleagues on single-photon detectors and their applications in high-dimensional imaging. After review and discussion by senior experts, Mingzhong Hu was awarded the Excellent Poster Award, presented by Professor Hong Guo from Peking University, who is the vice Chairman of the Conference Organizing Committee and Chairman of the Awards Committee.
The Conference of Quantum Imaging is an academic event focused on new imaging mechanisms, methods, technologies, and applications inspired by quantum physics and quantum effects. Its aim is to develop novel imaging technologies and applications, and it has successfully held thirteen sessions to date. The conference in 2024 is jointly organized by the School of Automation at Beijing Institute of Technology, the Institute of Physics at the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and the School of Instrument Science and Optoelectronic Engineering at Beihang University. Nearly 200 researchers from over 40 universities and research institutions across the country, including Tsinghua University, Peking University, and the Chinese Academy of Sciences, participated in the event. During the conference, a variety of engaging activities were conducted, including keynote speeches, expert lectures, poster presentations, and product introductions.
