On September 13th, the second award ceremony of ZHANG Yujin BOOK AWARD was held at 5-206, Rohm Building. The textbook "Introduction of Electronic Information Science and Technology" co-authored by Prof. Yidong Yidong won the first prize.
Prof. Yu Wang, Chair of the Department, Prof. Yuan Shen, Secretary of the Party Committee, donor Zhang Yujin, and the authors of the winning books attended the award ceremony.
Prof. Yidong Huang said in his speech that this textbook was written by eight professors: Xiqin Wang, Yidong Huang, Guolin Li, Ning Ge, Hongbing Ma, Ji Wu, Zhaocheng Wang and Shengjin Wang. This textbook is not only the guidance of the knowledge system, but also the guidance of the curriculum system of the Department of Electronic Engineering. It is the epitome and representative of the new curriculum system. We should not only inherit knowledge, but also create knowledge. The best form is to form textbook. Prof. Yujin Zhang do a good example for us. Thanks to Prof. Yujin Zhang for donating the book award, which has played a positive role in promoting the construction of textbooks and increasing the influence of the subject in our department.
