On May 6, 2023, Prof. Kaiyu Cui was invited to attend the second Critical Care Medicine-Tsinghua Summit Forum and gave a report titled "Real-time Ultraspectral Imaging Chip". She introduced the latest research progress of the real-time ultraspectral imaging chip and made application prospect in the field of medical detection, especially in medical diagnosis and monitoring systems such as intraoperative pathological diagnosis, endoscopy imaging and critical microcirculation monitoring.

The Critical Care Medicine-Tsinghua Summit Forum was jointly initiated and hosted by the Department of Electronic Engineering of Tsinghua University, the Critical Care Physicians Branch of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association, and the Department of Critical Care Medicine of Tsinghua Changgeng Hospital affiliated to Tsinghua University. Through the collaboration of doctors, universities and enterprises，the forum aims to build a platform for cross-medical cooperation between critical care medicine and the characteristic engineering disciplines of Tsinghua University to jointly discuss key issues in the forefront of critical care medicine, and promote mutual innovation and development.
