Prof. Wei Zhang attended the 21th International Conference on Optical Communications and Networks (ICOCN2023) and delivered an invited talk. The title of the talk was “Silicon Quantum Photonic circuits for Quantum Entanglement Distribution Networks”, in which he introduced our recent works on large scale QKD networks based on silicon photonic circuits. The talk attracted wide attention among the attendees.

ICOCN’2023 is technically sponsored by IEEE and co-organized by IEEE Photonics Society Guangzhou Chapter. Nine tracks are arranged that cover the topics of optical fibers and devices, optical transmission and networks, optoelectronic, optical signal processing, microwave photonics, optical measurements, ultrafast and nonlinear optics, space communications, quantum photonics, etc. Over 500 participants including famous scholars and researchers are expected to attend the conference.
