Optoelectronic Industry Summit Forum – “The Future of Optoelectronic Chip” has been successfully held on September 11, 2024 at the Shenzhen World Exhibition and Convention Center. The forum was initiated and chaired by Prof. Yidong Huang and co-sponsored by the Department of Electronic Engineering of Tsinghua University，Tsinghua International Center for Nano-Optoelectronics, and China International Optoelectronic Exposition (CIOE).

The forum focused on the industrialization breakthrough of innovative achievements in optoelectronic chips and invited five speakers from five optoelectronic chip companies and one investment fund to give exciting presentations. The topic of this forum has a wide spectrum from optical display to optical communication, as well as the application of optoelectronic devices in circuits. This forum attracted more than 100 experts, scholars, relevant practitioners, and students to have a deep discussion on the future development of optoelectronic chips, especially the breakthrough of industrialized innovations. We believe that this forum would benefit to tie the relationship between industry and academia as well as to boost the development of optoelectronic chips.
