On July 4, 2025, a delegation led by Ms. Jun Zhang, Chairwoman of Jinan Urban Investment Group Capital Investment Management Co., Ltd. (referred to as “Jinan Urban Investment Group), visited our laboratory for strategic cooperation discussions. The delegation included Ms. Yanyan Wen, Deputy General Manager, Ms. Yaoyao Qu, Director of General Affairs Department, and Mr. Jiqiang Feng, Jinan Partner of Tsinghua Technology and Innovation Holdings Co., Ltd. (referred to as “THTI”). The purpose of the visit was to hold discussions on strategic cooperation. Both parties engaged in in-depth discussions and reached a high level of consensus on jointly establishing an " Optoelectronic Industry-University-Research Innovation Center."

During the exchange, Prof. Hao Sun from our laboratory detailed the research capabilities and technical expertise of the Micro-Nano Optoelectronics Center. She elaborated on the proposed cooperation framework for the "Optoelectronic Innovation Center." The center is envisioned as an open, market-oriented, third-party public technology service platform. Its core mission is to provide high-precision, standardized testing services for strategic emerging industries such as artificial intelligence, new-generation information technology, and high-end equipment, thereby supporting industrial upgrading.

Leaders from Jinan Urban Investment Group highly commended the cooperation proposal following the presentation. Ms. Jun Zhang emphasized that Jinan is currently at a critical stage of industrial structure optimization and upgrading, where developing new quality productive forces urgently requires the support of "hardcore technologies." As a resource integrator for urban development, Jinan Urban Investment Group highly values the "magnetic effect" and empowering role that scientific and technological service platforms play for local industries.

As the next step, both parties will swiftly establish a joint working group to discuss details such as the center's implementation model, investment scale, organizational structure, and operational mechanisms, striving to advance the project to fruition at the earliest opportunity.
