Prof. Yidong Huang and Two PhD Students Attend the 2025 International Nano-Optoelectronics Workshop (iNOW 2025)
From July 21 to 31, 2025, Prof. Yidong Huang and two PhD students participated in the 2025 International Nano-Optoelectronics Workshop (iNOW 2025), held in Wrocław, Poland. This year’s meeting was hosted by Wrocław University of Sicence and Technology and co-organized by the Institute of Low Temperature and Structure Research of the Polish Academy of Sciences and the Changchun Institute of Optics, Fine Mechanics and Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. Sessions spanned semiconductor material growth and processing, nanomaterial-based devices, quantum optics and topological photonics, among other cutting-edge topics.
Prof. Huang was invited to deliver a keynote lecture entitled “Photonic Manipulation of Metasurfaces,” which drew keen interest from experts and attendees. PhD students, Yakun Huang and Zhe Li, each gave a two-minute oral report and presented posters, engaging in lively academic discussions about their latest work on optical metasurfaces and topological photonics. Zhe Li’s presentation won the Second Prize for Best Poster.
During the workshop, Prof. Huang’s team held detailed exchanges with top international research groups, presenting their findings and identifying new opportunities for collaboration. This engagement not only deepened scholarly discourse but also forged stronger ties between the laboratory and research institutions worldwide.
