返回Professor Hao Sun Delivered Invited Talk at SPIE-CLP Conference on Advanced Photonics 2025
From November 14 to 16, 2025, the SPIE-CLP Conference on Advanced Photonics 2025 (AP Conference 2025) was successfully held at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. The conference was co-organized by Chinese Laser Press (CLP), the PolyU Academy for Interdisciplinary Research (AIR), the Photonics Research Institute (PRI), and Society of Photo-Optical Instrumentation Engineers (SPIE). The event brought together over 200 leading experts and scholars from more than ten countries to exchange ideas on cutting-edge topics, including AI in photonics, laser and nonlinear optics, nanophotonics and quantum optics, as well as sensing and imaging, exploring the future landscape of photonics.
Prof. Hao Sun was invited to attend the conference and delivered an invited talk titled “Erbium Compound Nanomaterials for On-Chip Optoelectronics: Nanolasers and Photodetectors” in the "Nanophotonics and quantum optics" session. In the presentation, she detailed the team's recent breakthroughs in the field of rare-earth compound integrated photonics. The talk focused on addressing critical bottlenecks in on-chip light sources and detection using novel nanomaterials, which attracted widespread attention and sparked engaging discussions among the conference attendees.
