On April 20, 2026, Professor Yidong Huang, together with Professor Fang Liu, Associate Professor Kaiyu Cui, and PhD students Tianhao Liu and Zhiyang Hang, visited the Institute of Plasma Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences in Hefei, Anhui. They held academic exchanges and discussions with researchers including Professor Ling Zhang and Mr. Yunxin Cheng.

During the visit, Professor Ling Zhang guided the delegation on a tour of the EAST superconducting tokamak, providing a detailed introduction to its operating principles, technical features, and the latest research progress. In the subsequent meeting, Mr. Cheng Yunxin presented key advances, technical challenges, and application demands in the field of impurity spectroscopy diagnostics in plasmas. Both sides held in-depth discussions on core topics such as the feasibility and technical adaptability of applying spectral imaging systems to impurity spectroscopy diagnostics, and exchanged views on potential directions for future technical collaboration.
