返回The 2026 Symposium on Nano-Optoelectronics Marks a Resounding Success
The 2026 Symposium on Nano-Optoelectronics was successfully held at the Science and Technology Exhibition Center of China Optics Valley on the afternoon of May 18th. As one of the concurrent events of the International Optoelectronic Exposition and Forum, this symposium was initiated and chaired by Prof. Yidong Huang from Tsinghua University, and jointly organized by Department of Electronic Engineering and the International Research Center for Nano-optoelectronics of Tsinghua University. The symposium provided an excellent platform for experts and scholars in the field of optoelectronics to exchange ideas, share research results, and explore future trends. This symposium attracted more than 100 researchers, industry representatives, and students in the field of optoelectronics for on-site participation, and over 1000 people watched this event through the online streaming platform.
Prof. Yidong Huang from Tsinghua University presided over the symposium and delivered the opening speech. Wang Ziye from the research group of Professor Cunzhu Tong at Changchun Institute of Optics, Fine Mechanics and Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Fu Pan from the research group of Professor Xianmin Jin at Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Professor Lu Fang from Tsinghua University, Professor Shuming Wang from Nanjing University, and Associate Professor Jun Gao from Huazhong University of Science and Technology delivered wonderful speeches in sequence. They focused on cutting-edge topics including Advances in Photonic Crystal Surface-Emitting Laser Technology, Photonic Chip Platform for Artificial Intelligence and Quantum Computing, Reflections on Computational Optics, Research on Metasurface-Based Multi-Dimensional Optical Imaging, and Hybrid Integrated Photonic Quantum Computing and Quantum Simulation, sharing the latest scientific research progress and application breakthroughs, with a vibrant atmosphere for in-person exchanges.
The symposium closely aligned with hot fields of Optics+AI, quantum information and integrated photonics. It not only showcased the frontiers of basic research in nano-optoelectronics, but also promoted the in-depth integration of scientific research achievements with industrial demands.
