返回Prof. Yidong Huang and Ph.D. student Mingzhong Hu attended Photonics Asia 2026
From October 24 to 26, 2026, Prof. Yidong Huang and Ph.D. student Mingzhong Hu attended Photonics Asia 2026, held in Nantong, Jiangsu Province, China.
At the opening ceremony, Prof. Huang delivered a plenary talk entitled “Manipulation of Generalized Energy-Bands for New Functional Optoelectronic Devices,” which attracted considerable attention from experts and scholars attending the conference. Ph.D. student Mingzhong Hu gave a 15-minute oral presentation at the Forum on Infrared, Millimeter-Wave, and Terahertz Technologies, sharing the group's latest research achievements in mid-infrared single-photon spectroscopy, followed by in-depth discussions with researchers in this field.
Photonics Asia is a major international conference in the field of optics and photonics, jointly organized by the International Society for Optics and Photonics (SPIE) and the Chinese Optical Society (COS), and hosted by Peking University Yangtze Delta Institute of Optoelectronics and Nantong University.
Photonics Asia 2026 featured 16 specialized forums covering topics such as optical imaging, optoelectronic devices, quantum and nonlinear optics, and biophotonics, encompassing nearly 100 research areas in optics and photonics. The conference featured 462 oral presentations and 355 poster presentations, providing a high-level international academic platform for researchers from around the world to exchange cutting-edge research findings and discuss developments in the field.
