Prof. Wei Zhang, Prof. Fang Liu and Prof. Xue Feng as well as doctoral student Wei He, went to Yiwu, Zhejiang and visited HC SemiTek (Zhejiang) Co., Ltd. Dr. Wang Jiangbo, the vice president of HC SemiTek Corporation, expressed a warm welcome on behalf of the company. Prof. Wei Zhang gave an academic talk entitled "Light based Technologies: Bettered Life on Earth" for the technical staffs of HC SemiTek (Zhejiang) Co., Ltd, and introduced the researches in the Department of Electronic engineering, Tsinghua University on optoelectronics, especially representative works of the Nano Optoelectronics Laboratory. Prof. Fang Liu and doctoral student Wei He introduced the research progresses on two projects of "Fast Micro-LED Quantitative Testing and Defect Analyzing Equipment" and "Light Collimation of Micro-LEDs Controlled by Microlens Arrays". Subsequently, faculties of our Lab. had an in-depth technical discussion with the R&D team of the company, clarifying the research plans of these two projects under the supports of Tsinghua University-Zhuhai Huafa Joint Institute for Architecture Optoelectronic Technologies. Mr. Zhe Wang and Dr. Zhenzhong Zhang from Zhuhai Huafa Group listened to the research progresses and participated in the discussion.
