The Fifth Optoelectronic Industry Summit Forum – “The Future of Optoelectronic Chip” has been successfully held on August 7, 2023 in Sofitel Convention Center on Renmin Square Xi'an. The forum was initiated and chaired by Professor Yidong Huang, and co-sponsored by the Department of Electronic Engineering of Tsinghua University and China Laser Press. The forum focused on the industrialization breakthrough of innovative achievements in optoelectronic chips and invited five speakers from four optoelectronic chip companies and one investment fund to give exciting presentations. The topic of this forum has a wide spectrum from optical display to optical communication, as well as the application of optoelectronic devices in circuits. This forum attracted more than 100/3000 on-site /on-line experts, scholars, relevant practitioners, and students to have a deep discussion on the future development of optoelectronic chips, especially the breakthrough of industrialized innovations. We believe that this forum would benefit to tie the relationship between industry and academia as well as to boost the development of optoelectronic chips.
