On September 23, 2023, Prof. Yidong Huang and Prof. Wei Zhang were invited to participate in the "Extreme Optics and Information Optics" Science and Technology Frontier Forum. Prof. Huang gave an invited talk titled as "Innovative Research and commercialization of Micro/nano-Structured Optoelectronic Chips". In this talk, she introduced the academic research and commercialization progress of Nano-optoelectronics Lab. on advanced optoelectronic chips based on micro/nano optoelectronic materials and structures. Her talk generated considerable interest among participants.

This forum was the 146th Frontier Forum on Science and Technology of the Faculty of Chinese Academy of Sciences. It was held in Zhongguan Xinyuan, Peking University on September 23, 2023. The convener of the forum is Academician Gong Qihuang. The main purpose is to discuss the latest frontier progress and future development trend of extreme optics and information optics, further carry out forward-looking research on the development strategy of disciplines, give full play to the leading role of the faculty in the frontier of science and technology and future innovation and development in China, and continue to move towards the goal of building China into a scientific and technological power.
