On October 14, Prof. Yidong Huang was invited to participate in the "2023 World Conference of Women Scientists" held in Shaoxing, and gave a guest speech at the "China-South Africa Women Scientists Roundtable Dialogue".

The 2023 World Conference of Women Scientists is co-sponsored by China Association for Science and Technology and the People's Government of Zhejiang Province, and co-hosted by China Women Science and Technology Workers Association, Zhejiang Science and Technology Association and Shaoxing Municipal People's Government. The conference adopted the form of online + offline, inviting more than 600 outstanding female scientists from all over the world to attend the conference, including the Nobel Prize top scientists, the World Outstanding Female Scientists Achievement Award and the China Young Women Scientists Award. And representatives from well-known international science and technology organizations, famous universities, overseas science and technology societies, national societies, top academic journals, outstanding science and technology enterprises, well-known science and technology venture capital institutions and other organizations and units.
