The 6th Young Scientists Forum on Integrated Quantum Photonics will be held in Taiyuan from December 5 to 7, 2024. Professor Zhang Wei attended the conference and delivered an invited talk titled "Quantum Entanglement Distribution Networks Based on Silicon Photonic Chips," introducing the latest advancements of our laboratory in scaling quantum entanglement networks and integrating key network functions on chips, which attracted widespread attention from the attendees.

The Young Scientists Forum on Integrated Quantum Photonics was jointly initiated by Prof. Guangcan Guo from the University of Science and Technology of China and Prof. Shining Zhu from Nanjing University. The forum aims to provide a platform for academic exchange among young scientists engaged in the field of integrated quantum photonics, promote the development of related research in China, and accelerate the practical application of quantum information technology. The 6th forum is hosted by Shanxi University. The themes of this forum include: new principles of integrated quantum photonics, new technologies for integrated quantum light sources, new methods for quantum communications and quantum computing, new mechanisms for integrated quantum precision measurement, and new opportunities at the intersection of integrated technology and quantum information.
