The 11th Terahertz Science and Technology Conference, hosted by the Terahertz Science and Technology Branch of the China Institute of Electronics (CIE) and the Terahertz Applications Technology Committee of the China Ordnance Society, and co-organized by Nankai University and Tianjin University, was held in Tianjin from October 24 to 26, 2025. Postdoctoral researcher Li Tianchang attended the conference and delivered presentations.

At the conference’s special session on “Terahertz Generation Technology”, Dr. Tianchang Li presented an oral talk titled “Broadband Tunable Free-Electron Terahertz Radiation Chip”, showcasing the team’s innovative work on a tunable free-electron terahertz radiation chip based on hyperbolic metamaterials. The presentation received high praise. After evaluation, Dr. Li’s talk was awarded the prestigious “Academician Liu Shenggang Top 10 Oral Presentation Award”, reflecting the team’s strong academic capabilities and innovative research excellence.
