The 2023 Symposium on Nano Optoelectronics was held in Wuhan on 17th May, as a part of the 19th Optics Valley of China International Optoelectronic Exposition and Forum. The Symposium was co-hosted by the International Center for Nano-optoelectronics of Tsinghua University, Chinese Laser Press, and OESHOW. It was initiated and chaired by Prof. Yidong Huang from the Department of Electronic Engineering of Tsinghua University. More than 100 scientific researchers, industry representatives, and students in the field of nano-optoelectronics attended this symposium in Wuhan, and more than 1,000 people joined this symposium online through the webcast platform. Prof. Yidong Huang chaired this symposium and gave an opening speech. Prof. Qihua Xiong from Tsinghua University, Prof. Jin Liu from Sun Yat-sen University, Prof. Xuewen Chen from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, Prof. Renmin Ma from Peking University, and Associate Researcher Yongzhuo Li from Tsinghua University were invited to give presentations on this symposium.
