Metamaterial is a very active frontier cross technology field in this century, and is the source of many disruptive technologies. The third National Metamaterials Conference initiated by the Metamaterials Branch of the Chinese Society for Materials Research, the Dielectric Physics Professional Committee of the Chinese Physical Society and the Components Branch of the Chinese Institute of Electronics was held in Wuzhen, Tongxiang, Zhejiang Province from May 9 to 12, 2024, aiming to promote the theoretical research of metamaterials, design and fabrication research, and device applications in China. Promote academic exchanges, technical exchanges and application promotion between metamaterial academia and industry, and promote knowledge innovation, technological innovation and application development of metamaterial research in China. Professor Kaiyu Cui was invited to give a presentation, introducing the recent research work on on-chip spectral imaging. The title of the presentation was " Real-time ultraspectral imaging chip based on metasurfaces".
