From June 30 to July 4, 2024, OptoElectronics and Communications Conference 2024 (OECC 2024) was held in Melbourne, Australia. Ph.D candidate Jingyuan Liu gave an oral presentation with the title of “10-user fully connected quantum key distribution network via pump management”, introducing our recent work about realizing multi-users fully connected QKD network based on pump management spontaneous four-wave mixing (SFWM). Ph.D candidate Xiaosong Ren gave an oral presentation with title of “Hybrid integration of InGaAs/InP single photon avalanche diodes array and silicon photonic chip”, introducing our recent work on hybrid integration of Silicon photonic chip and SPADs array. The related works of our team have received extensive attention from the participants.

OECC is one of the most important international academic conferences in the field of optical communication in the Asia-Pacific region. It is an annual conference for researchers and engineers in the field of optoelectronics, optical fiber transmission and photonic network systems. This year, the new topic of "Quantum sensing, Communications and Computing" was added. The conference was hosted by the University of Melbourne and chaired by Prof. Christina Lim and Prof. Elaine Wong from the University of Melbourne, and Prof. Steven Shen from Soochow University.
