The 24th International Conference on Optical Communications and Networks (ICOCN2026) was held in Xining (China), during July 20-23, 2026. Professor Wei Zhang attended the conference and delivered a invited talk titled “Quantum entanglement distribution networks: methods and applications,” highlighting the latest research advancements in quantum entanglement distribution networks of our laboratory, which had attracted significant attention from attendees.

International Conference on Optical Communications and Networks (ICOCN) serves as one of the largest international forums for researchers involved in all aspects of optical communications and networks. ICOCN2026 features nine parallel tracks, covering a wide range of topics including fiber optics, optical communications and networks, fiber sensors and lasers, optoelectronics, optical signal processing, microwave photonics, space communication, and quantum photonics.
