
Prof. Yidong Huang was invited to deliver a report in the series of cross-forum of National Research Center of Information Science and Technology in Beijing
On the evening of November 12th, Prof. Yidong Huang was invited to deliver a report entitled "New Optoelectronic Chip based on micro-nano structure" in the form of online meeting and live broadcast in the series of cross-forum of Beijing National Research Center of Information Science and Technology. Prof. Qionghai Dai, dean of the School of Information and director of National Research Center of Information, Tsinghua University, presided over the forum. More than 70 members, team leaders, teachers and students from both inside and outside the university participated in the forum online through Tencent Conference, and a total of about 256,000 people watched the forum online through IT big Say, Sina, Baidu, and other live streaming platforms.
Prof. Huang introduced the research achievements in a series of chips with new functions of free electron radiation, one-shot ultraspectral imaging, optical orbital angular momentum, generation and manipulation of quantum states, and so on. In the Q&A time, Prof. Huang with the participants carried on the thorough exchange and the discussions on single photon OAM radiation with quantum dots, the resolution of one-shot ultraspectral imaging, applications of quantum communication and network, as well as the supporting role of quantum light source for quantum computing.
