On June 19, 2021, Prof. Yidong Huang and Prof. Fang Liu were invited to deliver invited reports on the "2021 Integrated Photonics Conference". The report topics were "New functional optoelectronic chips based on micro/nano structure" and "Free electron emitter based on surface plasmons". The two professors introduced the latest research progress of optoelectronic chips in our laboratory and the frontier research work in the direction of new free electron radiation sources.

"2021 Integrated Photonics Conference" aims to gather innovative resources in the field of integrated photonics, cooperate with research institutes, universities and technology enterprises to create an important platform for the exchange of original achievements, and make contributions to the realization of the next generation of disruptive changes. This conference was hosted by University of Electronic Science and Technology; East China Normal University, Nanjing University, and Materials Science Gusu Laboratory, co-organized by Wuhan University, and supported by the Journal of Electronic Science and Tech. More than 100 experts and scholars from Tsinghua University, University of Electronic Science and Technology, China University of Science and Technology, Shanghai Institute of Technology and Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, China Electronics Technology Group Co., LTD., Wuhan University, Materials Science Gusu Laboratory, National Center for Nanoscale Science, Zhejiang University, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Shanghai Institute of Microsystem and Information Technology, and the Southwest Institute of Technical Physics, attended the conference.
