On December 25, 2021, Professor Yidong Huang was invited to attend 2021 Technology Innovation Conference of Beijing Tsinghua Changgeng Hospital and delivered a report entitled “New sensing technology for the medical field”. She introduced five new sensing technologies fdeveloped by Department of Electronic Engineering, including: real-time spectral imaging, terahertz imaging, photonic color ultrasonic, ultra-high-speed streaming cell imagine, and test of liquid gas content of chest. She also point out that the most indispensable thing in intelligent society is smart sensors. Obtaining information through sensors will promote the development of precision intelligent medical care in the future and promote the development of an intelligent society.

With the theme of "Science and Technology Innovation, Medical-Industry Integration", this conference invited leaders of relevant ministries and commissions, leaders of Tsinghua University, well-known experts and scholars for gathering innovative forces, exploring major strategies and directions for scientific and technological innovation,  discussing the progress of scientific and technological innovation together, and talking about high quality developing. The aim is to promote the transformation of more scientific and technological achievements, innovative breakthroughs, and intelligently enlighten the future through the display of scientific and technological innovation achievements.
